ROBERT C. G. DISNEY
President and Chief Operating Officer
Major General (Retired) Bob Disney brings three decades of experience in leadership, military, intelligence, and domestic and international security operations to Sigma. Prior to founding Sigma, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of US Defense Systems, Inc., a subsidiary company of Armor Holdings, Inc., a worldwide security services provider and security/law enforcement products manufacturer. Bob was the senior security executive for Chase Manhattan Corporation, Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, and ITT Corporation. In each of these positions he had worldwide responsibilities, was the senior policy maker and executive for all security and safety functions and associated budgetary matters. In the wake of the bombing of the USS Cole in Aden, Yemen harbor, Bob authored a plan and presented it to the Commander-in-Chief, Naval Forces, Central Command/Commander, US Fifth Fleet to provide land and water side security for all US naval vessels entering foreign ports.

Prior to his civilian career, Bob served with the U.S. Army's elite Special Forces -- the "Green Berets." After several combat tours in Southeast Asia, he was the Defense and Army Attaché in Afghanistan prior to the 1979 Soviet invasion. After his promotion in 1991 to Brigadier General, Bob served as the Chief of Staff for the New York Army Guard. During the past nine years, Bob has been reappointed as the Chairman of the ASIS International Standing Council on Global Terrorism, Political Instability and International Crime. Bob is a charter member of the U.S. Secretary of State's Overseas Security Advisory Council and the International Security Management Association. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is also a Certified Financial Services Security Professional. Considered a terrorism, security and special operations expert, Bob has appeared on numerous occasions on CNN, NBC, MSNBC, the Fox News Channel and the Discovery Channel, as well as being quoted extensively in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and The Wall Street Journal.


JOHN (JACK) KALAGHER
Vice Chairman and Treasurer
Jack has extensive, proven experience in structuring and operating high technology service business enterprises, both as an executive and consultant. In addition to founding a multi-million dollar software and systems consulting company, which he served as its CEO for ten years, he co-founded and brought public a company operating in advanced areas of information storage and retrieval. Jack is also Chairman and Managing Director of The Riderwood Group, a NASD Member investment banking firm. (www.riderwood.com).   Jack has held senior executive positions in industry and government, including positions at Sperry and Burroughs (now UNISYS), Honeywell, Inc. and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Jack has also consulted in the management of high technology for various clients, including Sallie Mae and Sentinel Systems, Inc. and successfully managed a number of technology M&A projects. Clients included De La Rue, plc (UK) Applied Systems Institute, Inc., ANADAC, Inc. and Systems Dynamics, Inc. Jack is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Economics and also holds an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor fraternity of commerce.
 
MICHAEL J. BURKE
Corporate Secretary and Chief Financial Officer
Michael has 30 years of experience as a practicing CPA, finance manager, and tax planner. Michael’s previous experience includes serving as an officer and director of The Parvus Company, an international investigative and security consulting firm; and Information Security International, a company specializing in operations and computer security. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a member of the AICPA, Maryland Society of Accountants, and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
